THE MATERIAL:
The name Bronze stands for an alloy containing 67% copper and 33% zinc,
the main characteristic of which is its natural oxidation upon exposure to air.
That is how the alloy acquires the typical finish of old bronze, with a warm
and elegant hue that is not the result of artificial coloring but of a natural
chemical process of self-protection. Alloys of this type are the earliest
material used by man to forge particularly superior weapons and tools, in
the Renaissance period they were used to make the window and door frames of palaces and cathedrals and today in modern prestige buildings.
